The cotswolds
The Manor House, The Lakes by Yoo
From the very beginning, Alicia & Dominic envisioned floral designs that captured the warmth and vibrancy of the season. Their floral palette combined soft pastels with pops of peach, coral, and yellow — a harmonious mix that felt both fresh and timeless and perfect for the church and venue. We used a beautiful selection of seasonal blooms including Dahlias, Zinnias, Sweet Peas, and garden roses, creating arrangements that were full of texture, fragrance, and movement.
The floral story began at beautiful Fairford Church, where a wow factor natural broken arch framed the entrance of this historic church with an abundance of summer colour. Romantic country meadow-flowers dressed the grand aisle, a scene straight out of a wedding fairytale.
Alicia looked radiant in her Savannah Miller gown, paired with a delicate Eden B Studio veil. Her bouquet, designed with ‘Purity’ roses, dahlias, and sweet peas, reflected her graceful style and the soft romance of the day — simple, elegant, and timeless - Dominic & the Grooms men wore morning suits.
Following the ceremony, guests made their way in a fun red double decker bus, to a lakeside marquee by Abbas Marquees, nestled beside the water at The Manor House at The Lakes by Yoo. The setting was simply breathtaking — surrounded by shimmering reflections, clear blue open skies, and the soft rustle of nature all around.
Inside the marquee, the tables glowed with vintage glass bud vases filled with Dahlias, Zinnias, spray roses, Stocks, and more — these delicate arrangements in peach, coral, pale yellow, and cream simply glowed in the sun light of the day and the clear sided marquee with views across the lake. Elegant Ester & Erik candles flickered gently under glass covers, reflecting the light across the tablescapes. Pretty plates, peach napkins and stationery completed the look, creating a romantic, cohesive design that felt effortlessly elegant.
To bring the outside in, we trailed natural vines up the marquee poles, with their stunning arch at the marquee entranceway, drawing the garden seamlessly into the celebration space. With sweeping views across the lake and sunshine pouring it looked simply beautiful.
Alicia and Dominic’s wedding filled with radiant light, laughter, and an abundance of colour. Set in the idyllic surroundings of The Manor House at The Lakes by Yoo, their day was a perfect blend of natural beauty, elegant styling, and heartfelt moments.
