THE HEART BEHIND THE FLOWERS

A love for flowers, colour & floral styling

Cotswolds loving and endlessly inspired by flowers. From an early age, I felt a deep connection to nature and the beauty of flowers, but it was planning my own wedding that truly awakened my love of floristry. That moment sparked a leap of faith, leaving my London career to follow a more creative path. I trained at Berkshire College of Agriculture, completing a two-year City & Guilds course to Level 3 with distinction and receiving the Best Student award.

Whilst still living in London, I had the joy of designing weddings at beautiful venues including Ham House, Kew Cottage, and Temple Island in Henley. Also enjoying my proximity to London’s amazing flower markets which I visited frequently for inspiration. Yet the quiet beauty of the countryside was calling, and my husband and I chose to settle in the Cotswolds. Alongside being a wonderful place to raise our son, and be closer to his family, I fell in love with the Cotswold landscapes, changing seasons, and gentle romance that now inspire everything I create. The Cotswolds has the most beautiful churches and venues which are always incredible to flower.

With over 16 years of experience, I remain inspired by the ever-evolving nature of floristry, forever learning new techniques, exploring creative ideas, and sourcing exceptional blooms, many of them British-grown, that bring beauty, character, and a true sense of seasonality to every wedding or event.

MY style & ethos

My Style

With a passion for English country garden and Country house inspired flowers, my natural style fits perfectly with all of the stunning venues we have in the Cotswolds.  Every design is thoughtfully curated to reflect the people, place, and feeling behind each celebration. Whether I’m dressing a garden marquee or adorning a historic manor or a beautiful country church, my work enhances their beauty, character. Bringing a space to life with their beauty is what gives me great pleasure with every job I do.

My Ethos

I believe in the beauty of flowers just as nature intended.  Enjoying their colours, textures, bringing the outside in. Inspired by the rhythm of the seasons and the charm of the English countryside, my arrangements celebrate natural movement, soft scent, and organic form. Every stem is chosen with care to reflect the fleeting magic of nature at its most beautiful.

My goal is to transform your vision into a floral experience that is as unique and memorable as the love it celebrates. As a business I am committed to reducing environmental impact. Wherever possible, I source locally grown British flowers, and when not available,  Fairtrade imported stems that are sustainably grown. We use floristry techniques that strive to minimize single-use plastic in all my designs, creating floral designs that not only delight the senses but also respect the planet.

LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS

I love the beauty that nature brings through its flowers and fauna. They have always been a huge source of joy for me. As a child my grandmother took great joy from flowers and gardens.  This led me to enjoy them from a young age. From the vibrant colour of a scented rose to the delicate petals of a pink Peony, the woodland charm of a Foxglove, or the twist and curl of Jasmine foliage, I'm captivated by their beauty and this has let me to create the garden-inspired natural flower designs that bring all of these elements to your wedding or event.
